Planika bio ethanol burners: real fire, no chimney
A bio ethanol burner is the heart of a bespoke fireplace. You build it into a wall, media unit, island or room divider, and it gives you a real flame without a flue, gas supply or building work. Bioethanol burns cleanly, giving off only heat, water vapour and a small amount of CO₂.
Almost every burner in this range uses Planika's patented BEV® (Burning Ethanol Vapours) technology. The liquid fuel stays cool in a sealed tank. Only a small amount is turned into vapour and burned, so the flame never touches the liquid. A microprocessor and a set of sensors watch the whole process and switch the fire off if anything is wrong. You refuel with an automatic pump that stops when the tank is full, so there's no spilling and no overfilling.
